Pretty cool tattoo’s:

Moustache piercings

This is possibly one of the coolest ideas I’ve seen for a septum piercing.

Via ModBlog

I had a septum piercing about 2 or 3 years back and now I really want one again if it wasn’t for the ridiculous pain you need to go through for it to heal. My piercing closed up when I had a jaw operation and had to take out all my piercings.
Maybe someone could tell us why exactly you need to remove all of your body jewelery when you go under narcosis (right word?). I’ve always found it strange.

Quotes tattoo

Every now and again I tell people of the funny and interesting tattoo’s some people have, this is one I haven’t seen yet. It’s from ModBlog

One of the best I’ve seen are two quotes on the back of a girl, high up. she had an exclamation mark on the one front shoulder and a question mark on the other

And then you get this:

Some tattoos again

Over at The Mental Floss (one of my favourite blogs) there is a posting on the strangest tattoo’s.

ink-8427.jpegTattoos for Mercy

The Tattoo: a crucifixion scene
The Tattooed: troublemakers in the British Navy
The Reason: To get out of being whipped
There’s a reason Eminem and Snoop both suited up for their court
appearances. Similarly, British mischief-makers used to get
“Jesus on the cross” inked onto their shoulders to make
themselves seem like upstanding citizens. That way, if a religious
captain was somehow moved by the WWJD message, he might drop the whip
in favor of a lesser punishment.

While it doesn’t come close to some of the tats on ModBlog, it’s still an interesting read.

“I don’t really follow the reality TV stuff.” Bliksem man.

He [Peter Verweij] offers a definition of journalism, repeating it twice so we can get it right:
“Journalism is truth-seeking storyteling, primarily serving citizens, without a
legal foundation.” This means that you’re writing to serve citizens, and that
you’re more likely to be writing about politics and economics than about art and
poetry, and certainly not about your private interests. “Art and poetry have a
certain function, but probably not part of public debate.”

Tattooing is bv ‘n kuns. Soos wat die ander dude gesegt het: “Learning to read the blogosphere means navigating between “my cat died” and “the
current government killed my cat.””
Quote attributed aan Chris Roper, ek dink.

Cobrasnake and Flickr action

Some good ol’ cobrasnake clickety action.

And seeing as that is all I could come up with my weak attempt (and the fact that the latest few sets don’t really own up to much), I’d like to introduce probably my favourite artist at the moment, who I discovered through Flickr, Bones&Candle.

I love his illustrations and the way his colours come out always amazes me. check em out. It’s a mission to link his photos here, so click on the above link to go through to his flickr page.

Remember, always props to Inkedblog.

New content

I’ve been looking at Inkedblog and they have a regular “Seen at the clubs” Pics by Mark the Cobrasnake series. I think I’m going to start doing something similar. It’s an easy way to aggregate all the cool tattoo’s that are out there. Also, check out this blog that compares Pretty Girls and Sweaty Jocks. Pretty funny :) They’ve stopped posting though. dammit.
So here we go:

Tattoo Addiction

Sage - Tattoo Blog: “Though Victoria has asked him not to go under the needle again, he just cant stop and is devoured by the sensation of being tattooed.”
